Artemide

The Human Light - since 1959

Italian brand, a world leader in lighting design, founded in 1959 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza.

Artemide is built on an unwavering commitment to technological innovation, research and human interaction - a philosophy known as "The Human Light". The company has created acclaimed collaborations with some of the world's greatest architects and designers: Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid, Bjarke Ingels Group and many others.

Among Artemide's most iconic creations are the Tizio lamp (Richard Sapper, 1972) and Tolomeo (Michele De Lucchi, 1986), both part of the permanent collections of MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Today's range covers decorative, outdoor and architectural lighting, with a continuous focus on LED technology and sustainability.
